Amanda Kate Butterworth’s Photoshoot

Amanda Butterworth won the Wellington final for the Ralph Swimsuit Model of the Year competition that Brady Dyer Photography hosted several months ago, and part of her prize package included a photoshoot. Amanda then went on to win the New Zealand final in Auckland, and then came 5 in the grand final in Australia (Congrats Amanda!). We finally managed to find a time that worked for us both and set out to do something magic, with hints of retro and vintage throughout the entire shoot.

Lauren Sampson Hair helped out with her amazing hair-do, and my assistant and stylist Emma-Jane Hunter modified this throughout the shoot. Rebecca Connor ‘Boutique Mobile Styling’ also was a huge help with Amanda’s makeup for this shoot.

We got all our props and accessories from a second-hand trader in Lower Hutt (On Queens Drive, just down from Empire Skate) – so if you’re after any awesome retro gear, hit them up!

Crowns Clothing, a new local designer, offered us some of her fantastic winter capes – which we ended up using as they are great! Check them out in the photos below, and if you’re interested in purchasing anything fly over to their website for all the deets.

Anyway, enough blabbing… here’s the photos.
